Anomaly Detection for Time Series Data

 

Experimenting with Tennessee Eastman Product dataset applying a  range of models covering semi-supervised and supervised learning ranging from classic ML models to autoencoders to transformers either to classify faults or to predict if its a faulty sequence or not.

Quantifying Dropwise Condensation using Computer Vision

​

With a goal to determine the overall heat transfer in a dropwise condensation process purely in a computational way, we applied basic computer vision techniques coupled with nearest neighbor search to track the growth rate of droplets - a crucial factor in the heat transfer calculation. 

​

Presented this work at the International Conference on Micro and Nano Flows in 2023.

Developing a digital twin to simulate the intra factory movement of autonomous mobile robots in a software called Gazebo, which with ROS noetic framework runs the bot operations to test bot missions in a faster, safer, and thus more efficient way. Engineering a web-based tool to determine the optimal size of a fleet of forklifts taking into account real world constraints like operator shift delays, device downtime, replenishment time, etc. with an aim to increase the device utilization per day by at least 5% with a delay margin of up to 3 delayed tasks compared to the current status.

Analyzed the amended prices of purchase orders in the inventory data of a client to explore the possible causes of the same after appropriate EDA. Initial understanding of procurement-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles was also required to correctly interpret the client data. Presented the visualization of potential loopholes to the client via Tableau dashboards.
